Celebrating "Gotch Ya Day" # 2

On August 7, 2007 I walked into the generator lit home to 27 children in Paynesville Liberia. It was late and we had travelled long and far. As we looked into the room where the children huddled around the television the curious little faces turned to look at us. Jessie the agency rep called out "Junior", the children divided down the middle as a small boy made his way through. He came to me and climbed onto my lap and into my arms. The first embrace with my new son, this was in fact the "Gotch Ya" moment.

On August 7, 2009 we celebrated our second anniversary of "Gotch Ya' Day" by going out to dinner and just hanging out. It's hard to believe two years have come and gone what an amazing ride!

FUNNY QUOTES -
Lorea: Get out of my way, step on it, what is the matter with you? (Yelling at a driver).
Akins: Doria relax.
